Why NCAR? 

As a huge lover of dogs, all breeds, shapes and sizes, I started volunteering at NCAR in January of this year as a dog walker. Being involved with this charity over the past year has enabled me to see the wonderful work that they do and I therefore wish to help further by running this half marathon. I am a novice runner. I regular run 5K and the occasional 10K so when asked if I'd be interested in running the Conwy half marathon, I knew it was going to be a huge commitment and challenge. If I can raise funds for my favourite charity too, brilliant!

As a rescue dog owner, I have a personal motivation to raise money for NCAR. Having a rescue dog is the most rewarding experience. They are the quirkiest and sometimes most frustrating dogs but seeing them grow and develop into truly wonderful pets is the best thing ever!!

I have just 5 weeks from today (October 14th) to train so your support and donations will greatly help this massive task.
