Hair Donation and Fundraiser for CHI at Crumlin

Lynda Nethaway is raising money for Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin

Maggie’s Hair Donation Fundraiser · 11 September 2021

Children's Health Foundation Crumlin provides urgent funding where it is needed most across CHI at Crumlin and National Children's Research Centre – from funding essential equipment and patient and parental supports to making new services and ground-breaking paediatric research possible.

Story

Maggie is turning 10 in August and has been growing her hair out for 6 years. She has chosen to cut it and donate it to charity so wigs can be made for children who are sick with cancer.

There is no guarantee that her hair will stay in Ireland and so she wanted to do something to benefit children here and so we thought we’d do a fundraiser in the hope that we can help some children here even if her hair doesn’t stay in the country.

We have chosen this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to us, and I hope you'll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with us. Every little bit will help us reach our goal, and if you decide to give, you can choose who can see that you donated or donate privately.

Thank you all so much for your support in Maggie’s wish to make sure she can help and reach her goal for the Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin.
