On Xmas Day I had the privilege to volunteer at the Booth Centre in Manchester to raise money and support the amazing work they do by helping the homeless throughout the year.      

I met some of the kindest, bravest people and was inspired by the way people face the most difficult of circumstances head on.                       

By speaking with visitors I now have a better understanding of how easy it is to "disappear" from society be it by being injured fighting for our country at war, mental health problems losing ones job, divorce and so on.
