In memory of Nicola Saunders
We help over 2,000 local people each year to live their precious lives well

Story

My daughter in law Nicola, partner of my son Chris and mother of two of my grandchildren Leah and little Chris spent her last days at the Hospice of St Francis Berkhamsted. Nicola was a truly wonderful person to know, i was proud to have her in my family.

Although her battle was short, she showed great courage , dignity, and never lost her sense of humour, and her personality shone through to the end.

Nicola has left a void in everyones life but her memory lives on in her family and her children.

Throughout her fight the Hospice of St Francis supported and cared for her day and night. Not only did they look after Nicola but they couldnt do enough for the family that were constantly by Nicolas bedside.

The midnight walk is not only a marvellous way of showing my gratitude for what they did, but it will also help provide for families that will unfortunately be in the same situation as Nicolas family were.
