Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the York Marathon on 20 October 13 - the same day as my 44th birthday - on behalf of Martin House Children's Hospice and in memory of Jamie Inglis.  I only took up running a year ago and have been training hard for this 26 mile challenge!  Still a bit apprehensive so any support you can offer will be greatly recieved!

Martin House Hospice cares for children and young people with progressive life-limiting illnesses and provides support to their families. This great cause is of personal importance to me following the support and care they offered my friend Jon Inglis and his family during their 7 year old son Jamie's fight against neuroblastoma - a battle he tragically lost in January this year.

Please dig deep and donate whatever you can to keep this valuable facility going which gives support to families across Yorkshire.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
