In memory of Lyn Williams
Our Coronavirus Appeal is funding work in eight countries - Afghanistan, Bangladesh, DR Congo, India, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Help protect the world's most vulnerable people by fundraising for our appeal or by donating now.

Story

In memory of Lyn Williams, much loved husband to Mildred, Father to Philippa and Nicola and Grandad to Catherine, Alex, Will and Georgia.

Lyn felt very strongly about trying to help those in difficult situations and always tried to support the DEC and the work they do, helping the poorest people who are affected by disaster all over the world.

Rather than flowers for the funeral we would be really grateful if you would like to make a donation to the DEC and leave a message in memory of Lyn.

Millions of lives are at stake as Covid-19 hits refugee camps and war-torn countries like Yemen, Syria and South Sudan. We are fundraising for the DEC to allow them to help families who have lost everything as they face a deadly new threat. Your donation of £10 could provide 20 bars of handwashing soap to help prevent the spread of the virus in a refugee camp; £30 could provide six displaced families with enough soap for a month, to keep themselves clean and safe; £50 could provide essential hygiene kits to two displaced families; £100 could provide PPE for one frontline health worker for four months.

 Thank you for your support.
