Story
In memory of Lyn Williams, much loved husband to Mildred, Father to Philippa and Nicola, and Grandad to Catherine, Alex, Will and Georgia.
Lyn had a lifelong love of the theatre, from early performances at school, to visiting the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon and at the Barbican, West End productions and his involvement in Stourbridge Theatre Company, both as actor and President. He was very disappointed that he couldn't visit the theatre over the past year due to Covid-19 restrictions and felt strong sympathy for the actors and production staff affected by the lockdown.
Rather than flowers for the funeral we would be really grateful if you would like to make a donation to the Acting for Others and leave a message in memory of Lyn.
For every successful theatre worker, there are hundreds of actors, dancers, musicians, lighting technicians, wardrobe staff, front of house, backstage workers who are not so fortunate. Acting for Others provides not only financial but emotional support to all theatre workers in times of need through their 14 member charities. At this difficult time for all, the theatre industry needs your support more than ever. With the closure of theatres, tens of thousands of theatre workers across the UK are facing unemployment and financial uncertainty for a number of months. We thank you for supporting the theatre community at this time.
