Fundraising for Sense

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Many of you who know me probably remember me saying after last year that I was not going to do another marathon. You went along with the idea, but no doubt you were thinking ‘yeah right’ all along. Well you were right! I must say in my defence that I had no intention of running another marathon, no seriously, until I volunteered to do some training with Nicky (Paul’s daughter). Nicky has a place in and as it is her first marathon, she is a little daunted by the prospect, as you marathon runners can imagine. So I thought to help her I would do some training with her, as training on your own is no fun at all. I have also found out that my ‘Good for Age’ time is under 4hr 15m, which I am aiming to do (under 4hrs would be even better, but gets harder as you get older). So, anyway, I am running for SENSE. Sense is the leading national charity that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind. They provide expert advice and information as well as specialist services to deafblind people, their families, carers and the professionals who work with them. They also support people who have sensory impairments with additional disabilities. Please give generously to this worthwhile charity and support me all the way to the finish line.
