Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As a much loved member of our group we want to support Debs and Christie's so please help us in our fundraising.

Debs says:

"My beloved husband, Nigel, died on the 25th August at Christie's, after a three year battle with colorectal cancer. The team caring for him, led by oncologist, Mark Saunders, were amazing. Their skill, knowledge and care, combined with Nigel's determination, bravery and quiet dignity was formidable until the end. I would very much like to give something back. I am a member of Lyme Runners, and this wonderfully supportive group suggested that we tackle this run in Nigel's memory, to raise money for Mark Saunders' Colorectal Team at The Christie. For any of you who knew Nigel, or just want to support our runners in contributing to a fantastic team in a brilliant hospital, any contribution, large or small, would be greatly appreciated. He would be so proud. Thank you"
