We provide free high quality care & support to people who are terminally ill.

Story

If you live in Exeter, Mid or East Devon, Hospiscare is your local adult hospice charity. Here at Lyme Bay Winery we have pledged to raise a minimum of £1,000 as part of Hospiscare's 40 Club - 40 local business each raising £1,000 during 2022. By taking on The Grizzly, a local event we have sponsored for many years with our Lugger Spiced Rum, we hope to raise plenty of money towards this amazing cause - a charity that's long been close to our hearts.

GRIZZLY 2022

The Grizzly is a multi-terrain race across the glorious local East Devon coastline and countryside - it's the major event in the calendar of Axe Valley Runners. If you want to see what we're letting ourselves in for, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b15HOJWuL6c

The full Grizzly is a whopping 20 miles of cross country terrain, but we are opting for The Cub, still a respectable nine mile version of the same brutal coastline.

HOSPISCARE:

Should you or a loved one need care for any type of terminal illness, their professional team of doctors and nurses are there to help. Hospiscare services are provided irrespective of race, religion, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, diagnosis or place of national origin.

THE TEAM

Steve from the Cellar Door and Hannah in Marketing are taking it on for the first time and we all need all the support we can get!
