Story

Hello!

In September I will be cycling from London to Paris in four days as part of a fund raising challenge organised by and for the Alzheimer's Society.

Currently 700,000 people in the UK have some form of dementia, that's enough to fill every premiership football stand in the country and this number is set to rise.

The Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading care and research charity for people with dementia and their carers.

Dementia can have devastating effects for those who suffer with it and their carers and loved ones. The Alzheimer's Society provides these people with essential information, support and care when they need it the most. After seeing the effects of dementia and the work of the Alzheimer's Society both personally and professionally I feel very strongly about supporting this worthy cause.

This will be an enormous challenge for me but it will be nothing compared to the daily challenges faced by those with dementia and those caring for them.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page and supporting me, I appreciate it so much.
