Thank you for visiting my 10 x 10 Challenge page!! 

On 1st November I am taking on my first ever 10.10km run!! I know for some 10km isn't that far to run.... but for me this is going to be a HUGE challenge! Up until recently the furthest I had ever run was 5km so this is going to be a big leap! Anyone who has spoken to me about running will know it is not something I find easy and I am certainly not a natural runner! 

SO, why am I putting myself through this pain? I am raising money to support the Breathe Magic programme, run by Breathe Arts Health Research (where I work). Breathe Magic is a life-changing programme which uses magic (yes, magic) to improve physical and mental health (including children with hemiplegia, adults who have suffered a stroke and young people with mental health difficulties). 

Specifically, the money raised will be going to support people struggling with mental health difficulties using magic! Yes real, actual, genuine magic! It might sound unusual but that’s exactly why it works. Covid has increased and intensified mental health issues across society (I think we can all relate to that) so this programme, Breathe Magic for Mental Health, is need NOW (more than ever)…
