Story
If you're here you've probably seen that I'm running the London Marathon this year on the 2nd October. I've banked a lot of training time but on the day I am just going to give it my all and enjoy it!
I'm raising money for Safe in Sussex, a charity that provides support and help to people affected by domestic abuse. Violence, abuse and physical and verbal assault against women is a real and pervasive issue in the UK - from the awful cases you will have seen in the news to the fact that women often do not feel safe out running or walking home in their neighbourhoods, even in small villages like mine.
I want to be part of a positive change for women and vulnerable people in our society, which is why I have chosen to use my lucky ballot place to support this as my cause.
If you've donated then you're part of this change too - thank you so much for your support!
