Story

Thank you to everyone who has supported my marathon run! I really appriciate the generous donations which has made all the pain worth while! I really didn't realise just how long 26.2 miles is untill I was running it! So I guess I learnt the hard way but the day was truly magical! The support was unreal and a day that I will remember forever! I am so happy with the amount of money I have raised and I know that it will make a great difference to the lives of people affected with autisum!

Thank you

Hello there and thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Brighton Marathon on 15th April 2012. My task is a huge one, what with training and fundraising to reach my £2000 goal, a contribution, no matter the size, would be greatly appreciated.  I would be so grateful if you would play a part in helping me achieve the biggest thing I have ever attempted to do!

Running the Brighton marathon is my biggest challenge to date. I have had no running experience prier to this, so you can see what a big challenge this is for me!  The National Autistic Society is a charity very close to my heart. I want to help people living with autism and change their lives for the better; by supporting the National Autistic society the right support and understanding can be provided for people affected by autism.

More information about autism and my charity

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with, and relates to, other people. It also affects how they make sense of the world around them.

Over 500,000 people in the UK have autism. Together with their families they make up over two million people whose lives are touched by autism every single day. Despite this, autism is still relatively unknown and misunderstood. Which means that many of these two million people get nothing like the level of help, support and understanding they need. Together, we are going to change this!
