Event: The Great Tommy Sleepout 2023, from 1 March 2023 to 31 March 2023
It's cold, it's dark, it's wet. Can you last the night? During the month of March, we are challenging you to join The Great Tommy Sleep Out. Sleep outside for one night to fundraise for RBLI and raise awareness for homeless ex-servicemen and women.

Story

I am swapping my bed for a sleeping bag to raise vital funds and awareness for over 6000 veterans that are experiencing homeless in the UK right now. With every penny raised, Royal British Legion Industries can provide safe, warm housing and ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to gain employment, regardless of health conditions or disability. Please help me to raise much needed funds for this incredible cause.

We are planning on holding this sleep out event on Friday 24th March, starting at 15:00 until Saturday 10:00. Please show your support by donating whatever you can afford.

As promised, because I hit my £150 target, I will be doing an additional day on Friday March 10th. This day will be without the aid of a "safety tent", i.e. I will be only using a sleeping bag, tarp (maybe a hammock) and whatever I can find in the woods to help keep me dry and out of the wind. The forecast is rain and snow, so your continued support is much appreciated.
