Story

UPDATE October 25th 2009
Today I ran the 10 miles of the Great South Run in a time of 1 hour 34 mins & 10 secs. I would like to thank everybody who turned out on the day who gave me there support and to everyone who has donated. When i first started this website, i never in a million years thought i'd reach my target of £500 let alone smash it.
If you still would like to donate then feel free to do so as the page will be accepting donations until the 25th January 2010. Thanks again for all the support :)

Whilst working in greece this summer, i was unfortunate enough to lose a great friend (Ross) in a mountaineering accident, the experience that me and my close friends James & Ross went through was horrific.

Ross was always challenging me to "man up" and to push myself. I believe that Ross would of challenged me to do a 10 mile run, so to prove to the big guy that i can do it, i will be running in memory of Ross Moodie on the 25th of October, in Portsmouth.

I will be running to raise money for cancer research, a charity who are determined to beat cancer. Having lost two grandparents to cancer, I am hoping to raise £500 for the charity to help them beat cancer and to gain the same respect from Ross, that I had of him.

Please dig deep into your pockets and donate as little or as much as you can,

thankyou for taking time to read my story,

luke :)
