Jane Dawes, partner of my Dad, Digby Linnett and mother of Amanda, died of cancer January 2011.

Jane and her family received fantastic support and care from Macmillan during her illness.

After many years of applying, I have been accepted into the London marathon 2012.

This will be my first marathon and I feel it will be a great tribute to Jane as she enjoyed sport all her life.
