Story

In April 2020 I attempted to run my first 5K run, realising I couldn't run more than 2 without having to stop. Something about that 5K really frustrated me, so a few months later I decided to actively try to run further and further, eventually in January 2021 I ran my first half marathon. On that day I remember my brother jokingly mention a marathon, at the time I said no straight away because to me 26.2 miles sounded impossible. Then a few months after the half marathon I began to miss running and the idea of running further began burning in my brain again. So, naturally I trained and ran a marathon in September 2021, and so the cycle of a break and wanting to go further burns into my head again. So here, 25 months after not being able to run a 5k, I've began training for my first ever ultramarathon, a 100KM run.
