Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Following on from my part in the Belfast Marathon Relay in May this year, I am running the whole Dublin Marathon to help raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust
Having seen the great work that they do first hand, I realised just how vital their work is in helping youngsters come to terms with this awful disease. Having recently lost over 5 stone (19.11stone --> 14.4 stone and counting), now is the time for me to do my bit to help!
You can do your bit too, any donation that you are able to give, please do - every penny really does count.
I am running 2 races as part of this sponsorship campaign:
1- Saturday August 22nd - Frank Duffy 10 mile Race - Phoenix Park
2 - Monday October 26th - Dublin Marathon 26 Miles
Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer.’ Teenage Cancer Trust are the only charity dedicated to making this happen.
