Fundraising for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK
Hi Everyone,
In August I am embarking on a 100km Canoe paddle down the Thames to help raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I am lucky enough to be a Daddy to two beautiful children and do my best to give them the best things in life and to keep them safe, however this isn't always the case for all families and children.
Make-A-Wish UK creates life-changing wishes that revive the childhood that critical illness takes away, bringing light and joy at the darkest of times for a child and their loved ones. But right now, there are 60,000 children in the UK living with a critical condition, and they don’t have the resources to be that light for everyone. Your generous support will help them step closer to achieving their vision: to grant a wish to every eligible child. Together, we have the power to light up the darkness.
A BIT ABOUT WHAT I'M DOING
I have been very lucky to be selected to take part in the The Thames Expedition which is a 3 day, 100km canoe paddle down the Thames, starting at Newbridge and finishing at Reading, with overnight camping stops. This will involve between 8 & 12 hours of paddling per day in a double canoe (OUCH). Those that know me will know that I'm not really one for social media and crying out for support but in this case I really need your help in the way of sponsorship so I can help the Make-A-Wish Foundation to support their cause and provide a better life for the sick children across the UK. I have set a target of just £250 but would love to raise as much as I can so please just give anything you can.
Thank you for taking the time to read and support me.
