Story
Thank you for visiting my page. I am running the Brighton marathon in the memory of my dad Mark Whitney.
The 14th of April 2019 is a day I will never forget, the day my dad completed his 5th Brighton marathon, fighting Pancreatic cancer till the very end he completed the marathon in a wheelchair. Painfully he passed away 5 days later.
This years Brighton marathon will be exactly a year to the day we lost him. His memory and presence I carry with me everyday. We decided as a group of family and friends to continue my dads streak and complete this years marathon in his honor.
I will be running as part of #teamwhitney #teamchumps.
If you would like to donate, anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated. All the donations are going to a great cause.
See you race day !

Pancreatic cancer is a tough one but we’re taking it on. It is tough to diagnose, tough to treat, tough to research and tough to survive. For too long this disease has been sidelined. We want to make sure that everyone affected by it gets all the help they need. We are supporting those affected by the disease, investing in ground breaking research, lobbying for greater recognition of pancreatic cancer and being a voice for everyone involved in the fight. Together we are taking on pancreatic cancer.
