Story

So I’m finally taking the next step (and the few thousand that it will involve) and running the 2019 London Marathon!

More importantly I’ll be doing it in memory of my Mum and in support of my Dad, by raising as much money as I can for Barts Charity.

Most of you will know how excited I am to be doing this event, but also how much it will mean to me personally to be running in aid of something which has been so important to my family.

All donations raised will be split directly between St Bartholomew’s Hospital and Barts Charity Cancer Fund, so I encourage you all to give us much or as little as you can to help make a big difference to a lot of people's lives.

Thanks for all your support in advance

Luke

A little bit more on the charity below:

I'm fundraising for Barts Charity to support the incredible work, dedicated staff and wonderful patients of the hospitals of Barts Health NHS Trust: St Bartholomew's, The Royal London, Mile End, Whipps Cross and Newham. Your donation will fund state-of-the-art equipment, innovative healthcare projects and ground-breaking research. Thank you for joining me to transform the lives of patients in our hospitals, our communities, across the UK and around the world. Together, we can make extraordinary healthcare happen.
