London Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·

Since 2012 we have seen an increase of over 235% in the amount of people seeking our support. People of all ages, their families, friends and carers. Our vision is quite simply to make Jersey a more dementia friendly island where everyone is understood, welcomed and supported.

Story

It’s time for another marathon because I need a goal to get me running again and this time it’s the big one. I will be joining 49,999 other people on the start line of the London Marathon on Sunday 3 October 2021.

I am running as a tribute to my mother in law who lives with dementia and to raise money for Dementia Jersey. All the money raised will go to help those affected by dementia and their families locally.

Please dig deep to support this worthy cause and help me reach my fundraising target, as I will have to dig deep to reach my own target of running 26.2 miles in less than 3 and a half hours. Your donations will help provide motivation during my training and spur me on during the marathon itself.

Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
