Snowdon Push 2013 · 5 July 2013 to 7 July 2013 ·

Back Up services include mentoring, wheelchair skills training and activity courses as well as support in getting back to work or school after an injury. We provide peer led tailored support to help people adjust to a spinal cord injury and inspire independence and confidence for a positive future.

Story

Me and a team of 12 friends are pushing/pulling/carrying a friend up mount snowdon and back down againg to raise money for the back up trust.

Jenny aitchison is a wheel chair user and has been for the past 2 years. we will be pushing her in a specially adapted wheelchair to the top and back to the bottom in the fastest time possible. Our team did the challenge last year and we got off to a great start, we were the first to the top, but half way back down the wheels fell off our chair. This year we have built a new and improved wheelchair, this year on the 6th of july we are hoping to win.

The back up trust are a great organisation that help people who have suffered spinal cord injuries to put their lives back together and build their confidence back up. Every 8 hours someone in the uk suffers from a spinal cord inury that will change their lives forever. Please help me and our team "The Super Penguins" to raise money for back up trust to carry on with the brilliant work that they do.
