12 months ago my mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer in her 60's, nothing could be done to treat her or prolong her life due to the type of cancer and we were faced with a grim prognosis of waiting.   

We went to the Royal Marsden to see Professor Harrington for a second opinion and check eligibility for a clinical trial they were running. The strength and determination to get her better gave us renewed hope, which is so powerful in itself towards recovery. Within weeks she was accepted onto the trial and treatment started.

Our current prognosis is very different and she wouldn't even be here now if it weren't for the Royal Marsden. Everyone there gets 5* care, hope and a chance. Please help me to support this amazing charity that is making real differences to peoples' lives and supporting leading research to change the way we treat cancer in the future. 

My mum is amazing, her love for others and passion for life is unsurpassable. We will do everything we can to get her better. Charities like the Royal Marsden have provided amazing support to her and countless others.
