.UPDATE: Unfortunately my planned cycle ride on 1 April 2018 from Hengrove bus depot to Weymouth has been cancelled.  However, I am not getting out of cycling 80 miles that easily and have signed up to the Bike Bath 80 mile cycle on 1 July 2018.

So many years ago my wife as a baby had to have heart surgery and I'm grateful for the outstanding work they have done Bristol Royal Hospital for Children is the central hospital for the South West and South Wales Congenital Heart Centre, providing a comprehensive congenital cardiology and cardiac surgical service for patients in the South West of England as well as a cardiac surgical service to South Wales. The treatment of cardiac conditions often starts with diagnosis before birth and can last through to adulthood. In my wife's case this also happened in 2016 were She had to undergo open heart surgery again to repare some damage that had accured and even though this was as an adult the care was still amazing and all the medical teams we met were fantastic so please help others to make there journey in life too.
