My Father, Brian Cole, was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in April 2016. Following months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy and a nasty fall at home in September 2017, which resulted in a broken hip, we became reliant on the support system set up by Hospice UK and Ellenor Hospice Gravesend to help care for Dad. During Dads final days he was looked after by the Ellenor Hospice team as a resident and they also supported my Mum with counselling sessions and support. On 27th February 2018 Dad passed away and the Ellenor Hospice were there to support the whole family. They really played a crucial part in helping Dad be as comfortable as he could be, especially in those final days.

I'm looking to show my thanks by raising as much money as I can for this fantastic charity, as I know they will be there to support many other families in a similar sitaution to mine and the money I manage to raise will make a difference.
