Story From the top (Northumberland & North Tyneside)? middle ( Manchester & Nottingham) & bottom (East Sussex) of the country Sam, Simon, Claire, Stu, Jeff, Chloe, Nathan, Luke & Emily will be running a remote half marathon in memory of our beloved Grandad/ Father in law Dave & Uncle /Brother in Law Mark, all in aid of The Stroke Association. We wanted to come together to set a personal challenge, remember family & to raise funds & awareness of Stroke. We’re asking for sponsorship for all team members hoping to jointly raise £300 for The Stroke Association charity. We’ll be setting out on the Sunday 12th September in different locations to complete the 13.1 miles ( maybe not finishing at the same time due some tortoise & hare disparity in pace times! ) Please do sponsor an individual team member, or the team as a whole to help us remember Dave & Mark as well as raise much needed funds for this worthy charity. The Stroke Association provides specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives. Rebuilding lives after stroke is a team effort. It takes the determination of stroke survivors and carers, the generosity of supporters and the dedication of the healthcare and research communities to get there.
