Story
Luke Holt and a group of friends including local runners
Benji Napier, Charlotte Black and Laurence Sutherland are planning an attempt at running the 74 miles of Shetland End to End over the Hills in under 24 hours. The date has been set for four months time on
Aug 11th 2017 (after da Bonxies have fledged) and money is being raised for Crohns and Colitis UK. I have chosen this charity because through my work in the hospital and family experience I have seen how this nasty disease blights the lives of so many young folk in Shetland. For more information and to get involved or donate check out shetlandendtoend.com or Shetland Trail Running on facebook. We would love to have your support on the day.
Crohn’s and Colitis UK is a national charity in the battle against Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. We are fighting to achieve a better quality of life for the 300,000 people in the UK suffering physically and emotionally from these and other forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Ultimately, we want to find a cure.
