Story
A crazy adventure is calling me again!
In 2015 I went to China to trek across the Great Wall of China in an effort to raise funds for Chestnut Tree House. David and I raised over £5,200 for the charity. I have never done anything like this before, but this incredible experience unlocked this little adventurer and fundraiser in me.
In October 2016 we decided to take ten days out of our lives to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. It was probably the most challenging thing I have ever done. The mountain that stands at 5,895m is considered difficult for climbers because of the different climatic zones and altitude sickness that affects a majority of climbers. It was another great success, and we raised over £2,800 for Chestnut Tree House.
I am ready for my next adventure!
In 2019 I am going to participate in one of the most iconic trekking trails in the world - Inca Trail. I will be trekking for five days through three high mountain passes in Peru - the highest at 4,200m and consists of hiking through sub-tropical vegetation, cloud forest and some super challenging weather conditions.
This year, I will be raising money for Chestnut Tree House, which is the children's hospice for Sussex, Brighton and South East Hampshire caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age.
This time I have given myself an ambitious challenge of raising £3,200 for them. Please support this challenge by donating directly to them, any donation will be much appreciated.
