Sadly, after two years of putting up the greatest fight ever seen, Luisa lost her life to Metastatic Breast Cancer on 13 February 2018.

She was adamant that she wanted to spend her last days at Thames Hospice, Windsor. Luisa was so stubborn, that she wasn't going to allow anything to get in her way of this. 

She didn't manage to spend days there, only hours, but in that time, the love in her room was overwhelming. She, along with her family and friends were cared for and treated by the staff with extreme affection. We honestly don't know how they do that job - it takes some very special people. 

Luisa only had a few wishes for her funeral. One was to make donations to this amazing place.
