Ride+Stride is an annual event during which our supporters raise money for DHCT and for their own church by riding, cycling or walking between our beautiful and interesting churches and chapels. DHCT uses half the money raised (£112,528 in 2020) to fund vital repairs to roofs, windows and fabric while the other half is returned to nominated churches to help with their own maintenance. DHCT also grant aid the provision of facilities such as kitchenettes and lavatories so that our churches are more usable throughout the week for community activities. When donating or fundraising please specify in the message/story box, first the village or town and then the name of your church so that we can be sure that your donation or fundraising is credited to your nominated church.
