Story
Hello - you are already a good person for visiting my page. Huzzah! This is what's happened to us so far:
In March 2009, my wonderful, beautiful Ma was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a lumpectomy to remove the DCIS - ductal carcinoma in situ - which was successful. Unfortunately, though, they discovered more cancer, of an aggressive nature.
My Ma then had to have a mastectomy in April, just 4 weeks after the first incidence of surgery.
The Breast Cancer Care website provided - and continues to help - me, my Ma, Pa and brother with information about cancer and all things related to it. Treatments are explained in video form and as online "leaflet", help is offered for everyone affected by the situation and meetings are open to meet people in your local area who have been affected in the same or similar ways.
Breast cancer doesn't have an agenda about who it targets. It takes various ages, every colour, poor or rich, male or female. One day, YOU might need their help, if you haven't already. You can help people you'll never meet by donating, through my page, whatever money you can give.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to GIVE YOUR MOOLAH TO ME so that I can give it to Breast Cancer Care.
That AMAZING charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Whatever you can give is going to be SO very much appreciated. THANK-YOU.
Lucy and The Family.
