Hello, I am Lucy and thank you for visiting my page. I am running the London Marathon 2021 for Maggies. 

Maggie’s is a cancer support centre based at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and provides free practical, emotional and social support to anyone living with cancer, along with their friends and families. The centre is often seen as a safe haven, an oasis in a world of confusion and pain, a space to empower people to not lose the joy of living through the fear of dying. Maggie’s offers not only a programme of evidence based services shown to improve physical and emotional wellbeing, but a drop in service and a space where people can be heard, listened to and comforted. Providing a home from home experience, away from the clinical hospital environment, Maggie’s life changing support has benefited over 80,000 centre visitors in five years.
