Story

Michelle and Lucy are running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 8 October in memory of our dear dad who died from Motor Neurone Disease 11 months after diagnosis. Dad was diagnosed with MND in March 2022. It is a horrific, debilitating disease which affected all aspects of Dad’s life. He suffered mentally and physically, losing his mobility, dignity and reason for living. He spent his final days in the amazing care of St Michael’s Hospice who made him feel safe and loved. He has left a huge void in our lives and and we miss him so much.  We are running to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) to help find a cure for this awful disease and to fund specialist care.
