May 4th 2020 marks 10 years without my dad and to celebrate his life we have decided to do something special.

Starting on the 28th April my family and I, along with my closest friends (and anyone else who would like to join) have decided to walk the 140 mile costal path around the Isle of Anglesey. Anglesey is special place for my family and we have walked large amounts of the route with my dad when we were kids. We plan to walk the lot in seven days, finishing in Cemeas Bay on May 4th.

I am raising money for the British Heart Foundation as my dad died very suddenly due to complications that arose from his condition - hypertrophic cardiacmyopathy. Around 1 in every 500 people in the UK has the condition, however most cases go undiagnosed. Despite diagnosis and treatment for HCM, dad died from sudden cardiac death on Tuesday 4th May 2010, aged 42.
