In just two weeks I'll be off to volunteer at The Ramnagar School and Home for Disabled Children in Northern India through The Lotus Flower Trust.

The Lotus Flower Trust operates in impoverished, rural communities in India. Through the construction of schools, homes and skill centres, they help to bring dignity to some of the poorest people in India and their work helps bring a brighter future to those most in need – ultimately changing lives forever.

Seeing as Halloween is just round the corner it seems only fitting to milk the occasion and make myself look as scary as possible... (just in time to help vulnerable children, hmmm clever thinking Whitehead)... so on the 31st October I've decided to shave my head to raise some cash for some of the poorest people in India in the hopes that their lives can be transformed in ways that you and I take for granted. To prove that your money will have gone toward a great cause I will keep you updated of my adventures at the school and obviously post a video of me getting shaved...thats my head just to be clear;) So please dig deep and donate now.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
