We support Birmingham Children's Hospital to improve the lives of sick children

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm currently training for the Great Birmingham Run in October, working hard to earn money for the Birmingham Children's Hospital. This is my first half so i need plenty of motivation!!

In terms of the work of the hospital and the charity, just £5 could buy some crayons and colouring books which could make all the difference to a child whilst in hospital and waiting for results or treatment for potentially life threatening illnesses, or your money could go towards buying a life saving machine that operates as a mechanical heart. In other words any amount will help the charity, and the lives of children that rely on the hospital.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now, I'm aware that times are hard for most but every penny counts and I, and particularly the charity would welcome anything that could further the cause.

Peace x

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
