Story
I've taken on this challenge as I want to say THANK YOU for the amazing care so many of my family members and close friends have had when using Bristol hospitals. I will forever be in their debt for saving my Dads life and helping us through so many tough times through my pregnancies and the time I've spent afterwards in special care and on the premature baby ward.
This is going to be a massive challenge, I maybe a gym lover but I wasn't designed to run! I'm by no means going to be fast but I promise you I will finish and all though I was never blessed with long legs I did get given a double helping in mental strength and was bought up in a family with so much love and phrases like there's no such word as "can't". So here I am hoping to have the backing once again of my amazing family and friends to help me get the job done and give something back to this amazing charity who helps so many. Please beep, wave or flash at me if you see me pounding the local area it really does brighten up my run! My fundraising efforts will go towards the Heart Institute in loving memory of my father in law Guy and lovely friend Martin Burdge, Oncology for a project into bowel research in memory of my dear friend Libby Holliday and St Michael's hospital for a scanner to say the biggest thank you of all for the care given to my beautiful babies and my special boy who's sleeping in the stars.
