Story

I'm in Team Myaware taking part in the TCS London Marathon 2023 on Sunday 23rd April to help support the myasthenia community. Every penny you donate will support people living with this rare condition. The money you donate is ensuring our community can continue to fight myasthenia together. So please donate if you can and help me to raise funds for this brilliant cause!Thank you.

Myasthenia Gravis (MG) is a rare autoimmune Neuro-muscular disease, a type of muscular dystrophy. MG causes weakness and fatigue in both the involuntary muscles (such as the ones to needed to open the eyes, swallow, control the bladder and in extreme cases can affect breathing.) and the voluntary muscles (in the arms and legs). as well as this it also causes brain fog, double vision, problems walking, difficulty making facial expressions and chewing, dribbling and slurred speech.
