Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Here is my story!

When I was 23 years old I discovered after a number of fits that I had a brain tumour known as 'Brian the brain tumour'.

After an operation and a course of radiotherapy I was on the road to recovery until 3 years ago 'Brian' had changed. I now needed to have another operation and chemo.

When I first was diagonsed I was given steroids, these drugs made me blew up like a balloon, which was great fun!

I did find it hard when my hair started to fall out. The annoying thing was that I had just payed a fortune to get it cut short the day before. Then I had the problem of trying to find a wig on the NHS that didn't make me look like an old lady. Luckily I found a company called Hot Hair who were my saviour and still are as I am having to wear a wig now.

Anyway at the moment Brian is in hibernation at present and I hope he will stay like that!

The Brain Tumour charity were kind enough to give me a substanial grant to purchase items for my new flat and I would like raise some money so that the charity can do the same for someone else.

So please dig deep and donate now.
