Fundraising for Barnsley Hospice

As you'll remember, our skydive for Barnsley Hospice in Dubai 2013 was cancelled due to weather conditions. Life is too short to wait so me and Ben are back! We will leap 15,000 feet over the airfield in Brigg on the 1st of March!
On the 5th of November 2009, my dad was diagnosed with incurabe throat cancer and was only given months to live. This devastating news turned my life upside down.
After having a tracheostomy and PEG, he was given chemotherapy and radiotherapy to prolong his life. As a family, we looked after him at home until his condition deteriorated and was admitted to hospital. Several days later, he was transferred to Barnsley Hospice. Family and close friends surrounded his bedside until he took his last breath.
Barnsley Hospice is a charity that is very close to my heart. My dad was able to die with dignity and in comfort thanks to the amazing staff! The hospice provides specialist care and support to hundreds of local people/their families each year! We can help with the cost of this so dig deep!!!
Not only do we get to raise money for a great cause by skydiving, we also get to be a little close to my dad! Xxxxx
