On 4th January 2010, my colleague Elise was diagnosed with cancer. It was rare in its presentation of the disease, and caught her completely unaware. Elise was the biggest fighter I know and battled courageously for 9 months but tragically past away on the 3rd Oct 2010.  Her legacy is Elise for Life, a charity set up by her, in her name, for the treatment, care and support of others.

I need your help to support this appeal to raise a massive £1m for The Christie hospital. The funds raised already stand at over £500K with the cycling challenge I am involved in looking to raise in excess of £50K. My contribution to that will be a target of £5K and I need you all to dig deep to help me achieve this. For those of you that didn't know Elise she was a truly beautiful person. An inspiration to me and so many others. She was taken far too soon.
