Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

CAML is a fantastic independent charity providing free, impartial, legal advice on any range of topics, including housing, debt, benefits, immigration, etc. It is an invaluable pillar of the community, helping to empower people through various challenges in these difficult times.

As a volunteer, I have seen first-hand how important CAML's work is - people often come in as a last resort and feel they have been thrown a lifeline. You can often see a weight coming off their shoulders as they are helped to find solutions to problems that sometimes seem unsolveable.

The term "unprecedented" is probably overused, but the level of difficulties that many people in the UK are facing post-pandemic and in the midst of a cost of living crisis cannot be overstated.

In times like these, it can be difficult to know how to help. CAML has been there for the members of its community for over 80 years, and has used its expertise to help its service users and raise awareness of the wider societal issues which render it vital. By donating to CAML, you can help more people access these important services and empower them to tackle the root causes of such issues.
