Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As many of you know at the end of 2011 my close friend Sophie passed away at just the age of 25 after an 18 month battle with cervical cancer.  Sophie was an amazing person and kept strong throughout her illness, she was so brave and supportive to those around her even though she was the one with the illness.

Sophie is greatly missed by all her friends and family everyday and i want to complete this half marathon in Sophies memory and to show appreciation for Macmillan Cancer Support for all their help and support to Sophie and her family throughout her illness.

So please dig deep and give as much as you can even if you never had the pleasure of meeting Sophie and seeing her beautiful smiling face, this is an extremely valuable charity which helps thousands.
