Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This time last year if someone had suggested running a half marathon, I would have honestly just laughed in their face!!! But after actually finding an exercise I love and can "sort of" do, I thought to myself, why not celebrate getting to forty by becoming fit.....With only a few days to go I'm now starting to wonder if this was a good idea! It's going to be one of the hardest things I do!

So anyway here I am doing a half marathon around my home town and I really couldn't think of doing it for a better charity.... guide dogs are four legged heroes in disguise. They receive no government funding and rely solely on charitable donations. These faithful, fury heroes change people's lives by being their eyes and companion, allowing people to live normal lives.

So please will you sponsor me a few of your well earned pennies, any donation no matter how small would be greatly appreciated and will help get me round those 13 miles of the toon!!!

Big love, wet noses and sloppy kisses

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
