I have recently been introduced to a wonderful charity called Richards Wish.

Richard's Wish is a local charity in Dawlish, Devon UK set up in memory ofRichard Cridge. It was set up by his family. Their aim is to raise the much needed funds to provide a child, teenager or young adult undergoing treatmentfor cancer with a wish. This wish can be anything they want and Richard's Wish will do their absolute best to make this wish come true.

Richard was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in 2006 and underwent
chemotherapy, but after 4 sessions his family were told that the cancer could not be cured. Richard underwent a further 22 sessions as well as radiotherapy and drug trials. During all of this Richard never complained and packed his short life full of the things he enjoyed and will always be remembered for it.

Richard and his family have inspired me to take part in a Skydive for their charity to raise as much money as possible for them to fund these brave children's wishes.

I have to admit, the flight combined with the actual jumping out of the
plane terrifies me however nothing compares to what these children, teenagers and young adults go through on a day to day basis and if me jumping out of a plane from 15,000ft can make even the smallest difference then that in itself is worth it.
