Story
As most of you are aware I lost my Dad Eric in 2007 to a Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumour. The prognosis was 3 months from his initial diagnosis and Eric grew his angel wings a year later at the age of 57. It was an awful, distressing time for my Dad and us as a family, with lasting consequences for our family dynamic and plans for the future.
We all miss my Dad dreadfully, there is an empty chair at every meal, He has Grandchildren he never got to meet and it breaks my heart daily. If there is any way of helping even just one other family see out their own special future then I'm going to do what I can. Hopefully one day we will see a cure.
Gav and I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April 2023.
