Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So... most people would be pretty suprised I am doing this - especially those who know me well. I find it hard enough to stay on my feet let alone a bike. So most will think I must have a good reason to put myself through this, and I do. Probably the best reason I have ever had to do anything in my life. That reason is one of the strongest, bravest and couragious men I know.. my Uncle Nick.

Last March whilst driving over Tower Bridge in London I received a phone call to tell me my Uncle Nick had suffered a stroke and was crticically ill.. a heart stopping and life changing moment. Going to see him in hospital in those critical days was so difficult but against all the odds his Cann spirit pulled him through. I am hugely proud of Nick, Jo and their 3 incredible children Jemma, Rhys and Bec.

When my mum and Auntie were rallying support and recruits for this challenge it was a no brainer for me. I am honoured to be part of 'Team Nick' and do all I can to raise money and awareness for this great charity who continue to support Uncle Nick and other like him.

Any support you can give would 100 % appreciated.
