Hi everyone. 

In the following few weeks I will be cutting my hair very short. Originally I decided to do this for charity and to donate my hair, however due to my hair being damaged and the length not meeting the requirements for donation, I will not be donating my hair. 🙁 However, I have decided that despite this I would still like to raise awareness of the current problems in the world today and will therefore be raising money for UNICEF . The majority of people don't know much information about this charity despite the fact it works in countries facing problems. However UNICEF works in 190 countries across the globe to help as many children as possible. Most surprisingly to many people UNICEF actually works with deprived children and families within the UK. Currently UNICEF is working closely with countries such a Syria and Yemen which are caught within the dangers of war and poverty. In 2015 alone UNICEF responded to 310 humanitarian emergencies in 102 countries. Due to the ongoing conflict and violence in Syria, UNICEF has helped 27000 children cope with the trauma they have experienced. UNICEF helps provide food, water, vaccines, education and protection for as many children as they can...these are things we all take for granted in stable and developed countries. Therefore, any donations would be greatly appreciated and all raised will be donated to UNICEF to help a few more children receive the help and support they deserve.
